Osage cruises to win over Fatima

It was an offensive frenzy at Osage Tuesday night where the Indians took on Fatima and walked off the pitch with a 7-1 win.

“The guys played with composure and established dominance with our passing game,” Osage coach Jason Long said after his team built a 4-1 lead after the first half. “We showed a lot of character to play a more physical game in the second half netting three more goals to end the game.”

Osage senior Anthony Alberti scored four of Osage’s goals while senior Ryan Watson, junior Ethan Ford and sophomore Will Faulconer added a goal each. Faulconer and Nate Evans each contributed an assist in the effort as well. Protecting the net was keeper Reagan O’Shea who recorded two saves in his 80 minutes on the pitch.

Osage (4-4) hosts Boonville on Thursday at 5 p.m. and will play in the Laker Shootout on Friday and Saturday against Sullivan, Hickman and Moberly.

Camdenton drops match to Helias

Camdenton hosted Helias Tuesday night and the Lakers were shut out by the Crusaders 5-0.

Camdenton (4-9, 0-4 Ozark Conference) will play Fatima, Carl Junction and Union in the Laker Shootout this weekend with the first game scheduled to start on Friday.
