Witches of Climax Springs Haunted Forest raises $2,345 for the Northwest Firebirds
The Witches of Climax Springs hosted their annual haunted forest and hayride, which member Susie Brooks says was had fun for all the children and parents in the Climax Springs area. The silent auction was a big hit with everyone and brought total-raised funds to $2,345, thanks to such a giving community and donations of items. This amount was given to the Northwest Firebirds to help fund our fire department. The check presented was in honor of Red Adair who was the prior fire chief for the past 17 years. Chief Adair passed the Sunday following the event. The group asks community members to mark their calendars for next year the event will be held on the second Saturday of October 2021.
