Local scouts participate in pioneering project at Camp Hohn
Every year each troop can participate in what is called the pioneering project. For social distancing the troops were put into pods at summer camp this year at Camp Hohn. This demonstrates ability to do lashings, creativity, and function of whatever they choose to put together. In an interesting twist Eldon’s Troop 14 started the project but received a lot of assistance from Troop 21 of Lake Ozark and Troop 57 of Mexico resulting in plaques being made for second place after just a few hours of work for all three troops. This was an awesome display of Scouts from different communities really coming together to achieve a common goal.
