A Warrensburg man was injured in the early morning hours on Sunday after his boat collided with a fixed object on the 7-mile marker of the main channel on Lake of the Ozarks.

A Missouri State Highway Patrol report states that Micheal Joyner, 38, failed to keep a proper lookout as his 2019 Harris 250 Tritoon ran aground in Morgan County. Joyner was reported to have moderate injuries and was transported by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital. He was charged with boating while intoxicated and failure to exercise the highest degree of care of a watercraft.

The tritoon was listed as totaled and was towed from the scene. The Missouri State Highway Patrol was assisted by Lake Ozark Fire and Rocky Mount Fire at the scene.
