The 12th annual Great Bagnell Dam Duck Drop will take place Friday, July 31 & Saturday, August 1 at Lake of the Ozarks. Who’s duck will cross the finish line first? The two-day event is full of fun activities for families with the chance to win big money.

On Friday, a golf tournament will be held at The Golf Club at Deer Chase with a shotgun start at 1:30 p.m. This quacky tournament is full of crazy holes and fun obstacles so you can test your game around the course. Cost is $125/player and includes lunch, play, and 10 Duck Drop. An awards ceremony will be held at the Ridge Grill after play.

On Saturday, the Fun Zone opens at 10 a.m. and ducks fly at noon. The Fun Zone will have a variety of activities for kids. Be sure to walk to the Osage River by noon to see the ducks fly. Ticket sales end at 11 a.m.

Ducks will be dropped from a helicopter and by boat to see which cross the finish line. The first duck to cross wins $5,000 with 10 additional ducks chosen to win prizes. Need not be present to win.

All funds raised remain local and are distributed to non-profit organizations via the Ozark Coast Kiwanis Organization
