If you have a faded, tattered American Flag, now’s your chance to have it retired with honor.
The Rock Island Daughters of the American Revolution and Eldon Fire Department will hold a flag retirement ceremony at 10 a.m. Oct. 11 at the Eldon Fire Station.
The public is encouraged to bring their old flags and a folding chair and share in the event.
