The Lower Osage is from the dam to the 22-mile mark; Mid-Lake is between the 22 and 38-mile marks; the Upper Osage is between the 38 and the Rt. 65 Bridge.

BAGNELL DAM SPILLWAY/OSAGE RIVER

Water clarity: Stained. Fishing is slow.

LOWER OSAGE

Water clarity: Stained. Black bass: Slow on suspending jerkbaits, spinnerbaits and creature baits on secondary points and rock transition banks. Crappie: Fair on jigs 2 to 10 feet deep along gravel banks.

GRAVOIS

Water clarity: Stained. Black bass: Slow on Alabama rigs, spinnerbaits and crankbaits along rock transition banks. Crappie: Good on jigs and minnows 6 to 12 feet deep along main lake docks.

MID-LAKE

Water clarity: Stained. Black bass: Slow on crankbaits and spinnerbaits along main and secondary points and in backs of coves. Crappie: Fair on jigs around brush 10 to 15 feet deep or jigs set 4 feet below a bobber fished around shallow brush.

GRAND GLAIZE

Water clarity: Murky. Black bass: Fair on square bill crankbaits and jigs 1 to 6 feet deep along gravel banks. Crappie: Good on jigs or minnows set 1 to 6 feet deep along pea gravel banks.

NIANGUA

Water clarity: Murky. Black bass: Fair on jigs, spinnerbaits and stickbaits along points. Crappie: Fair on jigs or minnows 2 to 12 feet deep along gravel banks.

UPPER OSAGE

Water clarity: Stained. Black bass: Good on spinnerbaits 1 to 5 feet deep along gravel banks in coves. Crappie: Good on jigs and minnows 1 to 4 feet deep along gravel banks in coves. Catfish: Good on cut shad and skipjack on the main channel.

TRUMAN DAM SPILLWAY

Water clarity: Stained. No reports available. Parking lot and boat ramp in the dam area closed by the Corps of Engineers due to coronavirus shutdown.
