The Lower Osage is from the dam to the 22-mile mark; Mid-Lake is between the 22 and 38-mile marks; the Upper Osage is between the 38 and the Rt. 65 Bridge.

TOURNAMENT RESULTS

Mark Wiese Jr. and Kelly Power won the Ozark Mountain Team Trail tournament last Saturday with five bass weighing 18.66 pounds.

BAGNELL DAM SPILLWAY/OSAGE RIVER

Water clarity: Stained. Black bass: Good on finesse jigs, Ned rigs and shaky head craws in the creeks. Crappie: Fair on minnows and jigs along rocks in the spillway area or 15 feet deep in brush piles down river.

NIANGUA

Water clarity: Murky. Black bass: Slow on jerkbaits and crankbaits along chunk rock banks. Crappie: Fair on jigs 11 to 12 feet deep in brush.

GRAVOIS

Water clarity: Stained. Black bass: Fair on crankbaits along transition banks in coves. Crappie: Fair on jigs 15 feet deep over brush.

UPPER OSAGE

Water clarity: Stained. Black bass: Fair on suspending jerkbaits, crankbaits and jigs along chunk rock transition banks. Crappie: Good on minnows and jigs set 18 inches to 2 feet below a bobber along gravel banks. Catfish: Fair drifting shad in coves.

GRAND GLAIZE

Water clarity: Stained on the upper end and muddy on the lower end. Black bass: Slow on suspending jerkbaits, square bill crankbaits and jigs 6 to 8 feet deep along chunk rock banks. Crappie: Fair on jigs set about 4 to 6 feet below a bobber around laydown logs.

LOWER OSAGE

Water clarity: Stained. Black bass: Slow on suspending jerkbaits along secondary points. Crappie: Fair to good on jigs set 2 feet below a bobber along windblown secondary points.

MID-LAKE

Water clarity: Stained. Black bass: Fair on suspending jerkbaits 5 to 8 feet deep along main lake points and pockets or secondary points. Crappie: Good on chartreuse stickbaits or jigs set 4 feet below a bobber worked over brush piles 8 feet deep.

TRUMAN DAM SPILLWAY

Water clarity: Clear. White bass and hybrids: Good on jigs. Walleye: Slow on jigs.
