The Lakers were looking to punch their ticket to a third straight district championship game and the Indians were seeking their sixth straight appearance in a district final in pursuit of a fifth title in that same time span and the fourth straight.

Both of those doors were closed on Monday night as both Lake area teams saw their seasons come to an end in the semifinals of the Class 4 District 10 Tournament.

Camdenton entered the tournament at Capital City with an opening round bye as the second seed and met No. 3 Helias (13-12) in a game the Crusaders secured 70-62 in overtime. Biance Stocks led the Lakers with 29 points in the final game of her high school career, Payton Kincaid added 15 points and eight rebounds and Mya Hulett finished with eight points as Camdenton finished its season at 18-8.

Osage was the fifth seed up against top seed Boonville (21-3) and finished with a tough 61-19 loss to the Pirates to bring the season to an end at 10-15.
