Plenty of points were scored when Versailles visited California Monday night, but the host Pintos got the majority of them in a 93-86 win over the Tigers.

California got off to a quick start with a 24-12 lead after the first quarter and Versailles managed to cut down a bit of it, trailing 45-39 by halftime. The Pintos maintained a 64-61 advantage by the start of the fourth and found a way to hold on. 

Coby Williams knocked down 33 points to lead Versailles and also added seven assists and four steals and rebounds. Austin Zolecki put up 12 points and Mikhail Gulyayev added 11. 

Versailles (11-13, 1-5 Tri-County Conference) wraps up the regular season hosting Eldon Friday night.
