Camdenton falls to Joplin

Camdenton hosted former Ozark Conference foe Joplin Friday night and it was a tough one for the Lakers after falling 63-36 to the Eagles.

Camdenton (3-5) will open up conference play on Friday hosting Glendale with the freshmen starting at 4:30 p.m.

Climax Springs cruises by Halfway

Climax Springs visited Halfway Friday night and the Cougars made the trip a good one with a 66-39 win over the Cardinals.

"Our pressure defense was the deciding factor in this game. We forced 29 turnovers and four guys scored in double digits," Climax Springs coach James Butterfield said. "This was a total team effort."

Dylan Dake and Pake Moppin led the Cougars with 13 points each, Mark Henderson added 12 and Jesse McCartney finished with 10. There were 11 Cougars who scored overall.

Climax Springs (4-2) visits Stoutland on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
