Eldon captures seventh place in Tri-County Conference Tournament with win over Osage

Eldon and Osage met in the seventh place game of the Tri-County Conference Tournament Friday night in Versailles and the Mustangs outpaced their rivals 60-40.

"The boys played hard and smart from start to finish," Eldon coach Cory Casey said. "I was very proud of their total team effort from start to finish on defense. Offensively, we executed much better than the previous night, handled the pressure well and took good shots. We hit the boards very hard also.

"A very good all-around effort."
