Osage grinds out three-set win over Bolivar

It may have taken all three sets but Osage was the team left standing in a battle with Bolivar Monday night.

The Indians took the first set 26-24, fell 23-25 in the second and closed out strong with a 25-21 win. 

Alisa Boswell and Sara Wolf led the Osage attack with nine kills each, Jylian Lake added two service aces and Paige Rowland put up 28 of the team's 29 assists. Caitlyne Vaughn stayed busy on the defensive end with a team-leading 29 digs while Wolf finished with 13, Emily Dulle had eight and Rowland turned in seven. The team finished with 75 total of the night. Elizabeth Groos provided three blocks and Rowland added two of her own.

Osage (9-8-2, 2-2 Tri-County Conference) visits California on Thursday.

Eldon cruises by Tipton

Eldon hosted Tipton on the court Monday night and the Mustangs quickly took care of business in two sets (25-12, 25-10). 

Caroline Beckmann posted 19 kills to lead Eldon, both Jade Hall and Addie Davis added three service aces and Davis also finished with 24 of the team's 25 assists. Hayley Henderson led the defense with 14 digs, Hall recorded 12 and Tatum Frank contributed nine while both Beckmann and Cassidy Prater provided two blocks each.

Eldon (13-8-1, 3-4 Tri-County Conference) hosts Capital City Tuesday night and will be host Warsaw on Thursday. 

Versailles comes up short to Southern Boone

Versailles hosted Southern Boone Monday night and the Tigers fell in two sets (9-25, 12-25). 

Emma Geier led the Tigers with three kills, Sara Vogt had two blocks, Gracie Hamrick recorded 10 digs and Kylie Viebrock contributed five assists. 

Versailles (2-18-1, 0-5 Tri-County Conference) hosts Boonville Tuesday night and will prepare for its own tournament on Saturday.
