The Lower Osage is from the dam to the 22-mile mark; Mid-Lake is between the 22 and 38-mile marks; the Upper Osage is between the 38 and the Rt. 65 Bridge.

TOURNAMENT RESULTS

Rob Bueltmann and Ben Verhoef won the Anglers in Action tournament last Sunday with five bass weighing 22.34 pounds.

BAGNELL DAM SPILLWAY

Water clarity: Stained. Fishing is slow for all species.

LOWER OSAGE

Water clarity: Stained. Black bass: Fair to good on wacky-rigged Senkos and mojo-rigged plastic lizards in gravel pockets. Crappie: Fair on jigs 2 to 8 feet deep along chunk rock banks in pockets.

GRAVOIS

Water clarity: Muddy on the upper end and murky on the lower end. Black bass: Fair on Senkos in gravel pockets. Crappie: Fair on orange and chartreuse jigs along steep banks in the creeks. White bass: Good on Rapalas in the creeks in the evenings.

MID-LAKE

Water clarity: Stained. Black bass: Fair on jigs, shaky head worms and wacky-rigged worms behind docks on secondary points. Crappie: Good on jigs less than 6 feet deep in pockets along pea gravel or chunk rock banks.

GRAND GLAIZE

Water clarity: Clear. Black bass: Fair on Carolina-rigged Swamp Bugs, Texas-rigged Brush Hogs, tube baits and shaky head worms along gravel flats. Crappie: Fair on jigs 3 to 10 feet deep along gravel banks in the evenings.

NIANGUA

Water clarity: Muddy with lots of debris and logs floating on the surface. Fishing is slow for all species.

UPPER OSAGE

Water clarity: Clear. Black bass: Fair on spinnerbaits, jigs and topwater lures in gravel pockets. Crappie: Good on single-tail plastic grubs 4 feet deep on ledge rock banks. Catfish: Good on prepared baits around docks.

TRUMAN DAM SPILLWAY

Water clarity: Stained. Crappie: Good on jigs and minnows. White bass and hybrids: Good on jigs and minnows. Catfish: Good on cut shad.
