Osage visited Bolivar Thursday night and the Liberators sent the Indians home with a 7-2 loss in the regular season finale.

Osage was playing without its top player Logan Havner in the lineup so everyone was bumped up a spot.

Things did not bode well in doubles play as the team of Drew Elley and Tony Floyd fell 8-5 in the top doubles match while Colin Smithson and Ethan Kuscick lost 8-2 and the duo of Josh Cooper and Chris Boyd lost 8-1.

Floyd was able to pick up a win for the Indians in singles play with an 8-3 victory and Ethan Kuscik did the same winning 9-7. Meanwhile, Elley lost his singles match 8-1 and Cooper (9-8), Boyd (8-6) and Smithson (8-0) all came up short as well.

Osage (2-9) will now get ready for team district play on Monday when the Indians face Salem in the first round of the Class 1 District 8 Tournament in Jefferson City at 4 p.m.
