Osage picks up 2-0 shutout over Clinton
Osage visited Clinton Thursday night and the Indians made it a productive road trip with a 2-0 shutout over their hosts.
Chance Estrada netted both goals for Osage with the first one coming about 15 minutes in on an assist from Eliza Koeppen while the other was scored about 20 minutes into the second half on an assist from Jimena Sanchez-Marin.
Osage finished with eight shots on goal and keeper Payton Good maintained a clean sheet with 24 total saves.
Osage (7-13) will host Southern Boone on Monday at 5 p.m.
Camdenton falls 2-1 at Glendale
Camdenton visited Ozark Conference foe Glendale Thursday night and the Lakers came up just short in a 2-1 loss to the Falcons.
After Glendale broke the deadlock in the first half with a goal off a set piece, Camdenton's Aeryn Kennedy quickly hit the equalizer on a throw-in from Charlotte Kurtz. However, the home team had one last answer.
"The girls played well and it was a hard-fought game, just came up short," Camdenton coach Chris Byington said. "Glendale was a good squad but we played good soccer. I am proud of the girls for what they did, but we are not satisfied with the result and we will continue to get better each game until districts.
"This is a special group and I think the girls are believing that they can do something special this year. Just has to be a total team effort."
Camdenton (9-9-1, 4-2 Ozark Conference) hosts Kickapoo on Monday at 6 p.m.
