Osage swept by Helias and Camdenton swept by Jefferson City

Osage swept by Helias

School of the Osage hosted Helias on Friday afternoon and it was a tough outing on the courts for the Indians as they fell to the Crusaders in a 9-0 sweep.

The top Osage doubles team of Logan Havner and Tony Floyd lost an 8-0 sweep, the No. 2 team of Drew Elley and Ethan Kuscik fell 8-2 and the No. 3 team of Braden Vickers and Ryan Page were also swept 8-0.

Havner was the top singles player for Osage and nearly pulled off a win but lost a 10-8 tiebreaker. Meanwhile, Floyd lost in straight sets (2-6, 0-6), Elley fell (6-4, 3-6, 9-11), Kuscik lost (1-6, 0-6), Page lost (0-6, 0-6) and Vickers fell in straight sets as well (0-6, 0-6).

Osage (0-3) will visit Fulton on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m.

Camdenton swept by Jefferson City

Camdenton visited Jefferson City Thursday night and the Jays proved to be a tough opponent in a 9-0 sweep over the Lakers.

Camdenton’s Aiden Risner was the closest to getting a win for the Lakers, but he ultimately fell in a 9-8 tiebreaker (4-7) in the number five singles spot.

Camdenton (1-1) will have some time to regroup before hosting Lebanon on April 2 at 4 p.m.
