The Mustangs finished second in the final team standings with a card of 183, trailing only Helias’ 157 while Iberia shot a 192 and Blair Oaks finished at 193.

Eldon teed off for its first nine holes of the season on Tuesday hosting Helias, Iberia and Blair Oaks in a quadrangular at Eldon Golf Club.

The Mustangs finished second in the final team standings with a card of 183, trailing only Helias’ 157 while Iberia shot a 192 and Blair Oaks finished at 193.

“It was a good opener,” Eldon coach Matt Frey said. “We played well for our first match. I saw some good things and some things we can improve on. I’m super happy with our finish and looking forward to Thursday’s match.”

That match will involve Southern Boone and Lake area neighbor Camdenton when the Mustangs host the two schools for their next nine holes at 3:45 p.m.
