TO NOTE

The Lower Osage is from the dam to the 22-mile mark; Mid-Lake is between the 22 and 38-mile marks; the Upper Osage is between the 38 and the Rt. 65 Bridge.

TOURNAMENT RESULTS

The Bassing Bob Winter Bass Challenge slated for last Saturday was postponed due to the weekend snowstorm.

LOWER OSAGE

Water clarity: Stained in back of coves and main lake, clear halfway back in coves. Black bass: Fair on suspending stickbaits along channel banks in coves and secondary points. Crappie: Fair on jigs in front of docks over depths of 20 feet.

UPPER OSAGE

Water clarity: Murky to muddy. Black bass: Slow on suspending stickbaits along secondary points. Crappie: Fair on blue ice Bobby Garland Baby Shads 12 feet deep along docks.

GRAVOIS

Water clarity: Stained on lower end and muddy in the upper arms. Black bass: Slow on bright-colored suspending stickbaits and jigs along steep banks. Crappie: Fair on tube jigs shooting main lake docks. White bass: Fair on minnows drifted around schools of shad.

MID-LAKE

Water clarity: Murky. Black bass: Slow on jigs along steep banks. Crappie: Slow on jigs 10 to 15 feet deep in brush piles and along docks.

GRAND GLAIZE

Water clarity: Murky on the upper end and clear on lower end. Black bass: Fair on jerkbaits along steep rocky banks. Crappie: Slow on jigs for fish suspended 6 feet deep along docks over depths of 20 feet or deeper.

NIANGUA

Water clarity: Clear on lower arm and stained in upper end. Black bass: Slow on crankbaits along main lake rocky points.
