Climax Springs and neighboring Warsaw went to battle in the consolation finals of the Skyline Tournament Thursday night and the Wildcats managed to squeak by the Cougars in a 46-45 win for fifth place.

Warsaw held just a 30-25 lead at the break and Climax Springs' defense only allowed two points the entire third quarter to make a push for the win. Ultimately, the Cougars came up just a little bit short.

Autumn Wallace led Climax Springs with 14 points, Jayden Butterfield added 12 and both Abi Wolfe and Hailey McIntosh finished with seven points each.

Climax Springs (9-4) will visit fellow neighbor Macks Creek on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m.
