Lakers go 9-4 in dual competiton

Camdenton was in Monett Tuesday night for dual competition and it was a fairly good night for the Lakers as they finished 9-4 with some notable times. 

Camdenton was victorious over Greenwood 88-27, Hillcrest 97-56, Joplin 84-60, Lamar 81-64, Marshfield 98-24, Nevada 76-68, Thomas Jefferson 95-15, Lebanon 98-6 and another unnamed school 102-0. Meanwhile, the Lakers came up short to Monett 102-58, Carl Junction 93-62, Carthage 92-65 and Webb City 113-57.

The 200 Medley relay team finished fifth with a time of 2:11.4, the 200 freestyle relay team finished fourth with a time of 1:58.74 and the 400 freestyle relay team captured seventh at 4:47.18.


-50 Freestyle: Irelyn Meckley (9th) 29.12 seconds, Kiah Seymour (15th) 30.81, Erin Leezer (17th) 31.22 and Katie Blackman (18th) 31.29

-100 Freestyle: Emily Willis (3rd) 1:01.98, Irelyn Meckley (11th) 1:07.66, Emme Thompson (14th) 1:10.49 and Raquel Potteiger (15th) 1:12.56

-100 Backstroke: Adrena Normand (9th) 1:19.65 and Brooke Echternacht (19th) 1:29.88

-100 Breaststroke: Kiah Seymour (4th) 1:19.91, Erin Leezer (13th) 1:27.24 and Amanda Ferguson (19th) 1:33.01

-200 Freestyle: Sasha Prather (13th) 2:35.23, Raquel Potteiger (17th) 2:39.19 and Reagan Faiferlick (24th) 2:54.67

-200 Individual Medley: Emily Willis (2nd) 2:32.13

-500 Freestyle: Sasha Prather (8th) 7:08.1 and Reagan Faiferlick (16th) 7:50.14

Camdenton will return to the pool on Saturday for the Winnetonka Invitational at 10:30 a.m. The meet is scheduled to take place at the Gladstone Community Center.
