The Lower Osage is from the dam to the 22-mile mark; Mid-Lake is between the 22 and 38-mile marks; the Upper Osage is between the 38 and the Rt. 65 Bridge.

CRAPPIE

Lower Osage: Good shooting jigs under main lake docks 12 to 15 feet deep. Gravois: Good shooting jigs under docks. Mid-Lake: Good on jigs in brush piles and around main lake docks 12 to 15 feet deep. Grand Glaize: Fair to good on jigs set below bobbers 4 to 6 feet deep in coves with deep water and on the main lake. Niangua: Fair on minnows and jigs in brush piles 6 to 8 feet deep. Upper Osage: Good on minnows and jigs 6 to 8 feet deep around docks. Truman Dam spillway: Fair on jigs during water releases.

CATFISH

Gravois: Good trolling cut shad on the main channel. Mid-Lake: Fair drifting cut shad or shrimp along the old river channel. Grand Glaize: Fair on cut shad tightlining in deep pockets. Upper Osage: Fair on cut shad. Truman Dam spillway: Good on fresh shad during water releases.

BLACK BASS

Corey Steckler and Myrick Coil won the Anglers in Action Turkey Challenge Nov. 24 with five bass weighing 21.96 pounds. Bagnell Dam spillway: Fair on crankbaits. Lower Osage: Fair on spinnerbaits and jigs on main lake points and wind-blown rocky banks 12 to 15 feet deep. Gravois: Fair on Alabama rigs around brush piles. Mid-Lake: Fair on Alabama rigs and suspending jerkbaits around brush piles in the creeks or steep banks. Grand Glaize: Slow on jigs and Alabama rigs along secondary points. Niangua: Good on shaky head finesse worms and crankbaits 1 to 5 feet deep along secondary points. Upper Osage: Fair on Wiggle Wart crankbaits along secondary points.

WHITE AND HYBRID BASS

Gravois: Fair on jigs along windy points. Mid-Lake: Fair on jigs along windy flat points. Grand Glaize: Fair on Roostertails and jigs along windy points.
