School of the Osage got back on track Monday night.

The Indians were visiting Belle and after a tough string of four straight losses, the club walked off the pitch with a 9-1 win.

"With a goal differential of -23 over the past four games, scoring was a welcome sight," Osage coach Jason Long said. "While the boys did not bring home a clean sheet, they shot their way to the final whistle."

Osage junior Garrett Long netted four goals in the offensive clinic while fellow junior Layton Jennings contributed a hat trick of three goals and two assists. Meanwhile, freshman Ethan Ford got things started by scoring two early goals while adding an assist. Brenden Mueller also contributed an assist in his first career varsity appearance.

Osage (11-10-1) was scheduled to be in Bolivar on Tuesday and will close out the regular season with a trip to Lake area neighbor Camdenton on Thursday at 5 p.m.
