Osage was on the road Tuesday night to take on Cole Camp and the Indians made the trip worth it as they brought home a 2-0 win.

"It is a step in the right direction. The boys have set their season goals and are eager to prove themselves as a contender in any match they play in," Osage coach Jason Long said. "Coach (Willy) Ramirez and I both agree that when our offense comes alive, it will make for some very entertaining games.

"We are pleased with the progress the team made on keeping their shape in our formation," Long added. "The players are starting to grasp the team concept and recognize the value of every position on the pitch."

Osage junior forward Garrett Long found the back of the net twice on a shot inside the 18-yard box and a penalty kick. The goals were more than enough for senior goalkeeper Parker Jett who recorded 10 saves to earn his clean sheet.

Osage (2-2-1) was scheduled to visit Stover on Thursday at 5 p.m.
