Lakers finish 2nd, Osage takes 25th and Versailles captures 27th in Glendale meet

It was ladies' night at Glendale as Lake area track and field athletes representing Camdenton, Osage and Versailles went to battle with 26 other schools in Springfield Thursday night. 

After all the events were completed, Camdenton finished second in the team standings with 75 points, trailing only Ozark Conference foe Kickapoo which won the meet with 81 respectively. Meanwhile, Osage finished tied for 25th with five points and Versailles came in 29th with three points of its own. 

Listed below are the top eight finishers in each event who earned points for the Lakers, Indians and Tigers.


-100-Meter Dash: Camdenton's Grace Wormek (1st) 12.65 seconds and Osage's Cecilia Verslues (5th) 12.91 seconds 

-200-Meter Dash: Camdenton's Grace Wormek (2nd) 26.29 seconds

-100-Meter Hurdles: Camdenton's Kylie Meier (1st) 15.4 seconds and Camdenton's Natalie Basham (4th) 15.56 seconds

-300-Meter Hurdles: Camdenton's Kylie Meier (2nd) 45.42 seconds and Camdenton's Natalie Basham (4th) 47.06 seconds

-4x200 Relay: Camdenton's Katie Blackman, Kylie Meier, Natalie Basham and Grace Wormek (2nd) 1:48
