Ronnie Capps and Steve Coleman win the highly coveted 2017 American Crappie Trail B’nM Anglers of the year award.

The race was between the absolute best professional crappie anglers in America. Capps and Coleman traveled thousands of miles in 2017 to fish the tournaments and earn the points.

They received a 2017 Ranger RT188C boat, 115 Evinrude outboard, Minn Kota trolling motor and electronics from Lowrance- a boat valued in excess of $20,000. Capps and Coleman also finished eighth out of 44 teams of America’s most elite crappie anglers, netting them a total, in cash and prizes for the weekend of $28,500.

The American Crappie Trail is a Crappie fishing trail that started in 2017. They have the largest payouts of any Crappie trail in America and give away a Ranger Boat at every tournament. They held their Inaugural Classic at Lake of the Ozarks in Laurie October 20th-21st.
