The wrestlers of Camdenton visited Republic on Tuesday night to take on the host and Neosho. The Lakers lost to Neosho 75 to 6 and Republic 46 to 22.
The Lakers left seven weight classes uncontested in the first bout with Neosho and Gabe Blain was the lone wrestler to pick up points for Camdenton with a forfeit at the 132-pound class.
Blain got things started for the Lakers in the second dual of the night as he stayed unbeaten with a pin over his Republic opponent. Ethan Harris (138) won an 11-5 decision. Keegan Darby (145) won an 11-1 major decision and Jesus Ramirez (160) picked up a forfeit win to round up the scoring for the Lakers.
Camdenton will look to bounce back this weekend as the Lakers head to St. Charles for the St. Charles Invitational which will be a two-day tournament that begins on Friday.
