Wanda Lee Pasmore, 95, went to be with the Lord, February 15, 2021, at Windsor Estates in Camdenton. She was formerly of the Gravois Mills/ Laurie, Missouri area.
She was born January 14, 1926, to Arthur and Ruhama Rakestraw Stewart, in Alexandria, Nebraska. The family moved to Independence, Missouri in 1941. Wanda graduated high school in 1944. She married Billy Lee Pasmore on May 12, 1945, in Jackson County, Missouri. They had two sons, Terry and Craig Pasmore.
During their marriage of 68 years, Billy owned and operated an auto parts store in Monett, Missouri. They then moved to Aurora, Illinois, where Billy worked for Pittsburg Paints/Sherwin Williams before retiring to Gravois Mills, Missouri in 1999.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Ruhama Stewart, her husband, Billy Pasmore, sons, Terry and Craig Pasmore, sister, Shirley Stewart Barta and nephew, Richard Barta.
She is survived by grandson, Curtis Pasmore; two granddaughters, Julie Pasmore (Lonnie) Larkin of Abingdon, MA and Kristin Pasmore of Chicago, IL; great-grandchildren, Lindsey Larkin and Brady Larkin and niece, Kiley Barta Harris.
Wanda so loved sharing her beautiful view of the lake from her home. She will really be missed by those close to her. No services will be held. Cremation arrangements are under the direction and care of the Kidwell-Garber Laurie/Sunrise Beach Chapel. Inurnment will be in the family plot at Fairview Cemetery in Liberty, Missouri at a later date.
Her passion was for the children of St. Jude’s and Shriners. She will bestow many blessings upon each charity with her love and support.
