Freida Joann Stoufer, age 83, of Macks Creek, Missouri and formerly of Bolivar, Missouri, passed away Sunday, January 10, 2021 at Camdenton Windsor Estates in Camdenton, Missouri.
Freida was born August 19, 1937 in Camdenton, Missouri, the daughter of Porter and Rosa (Rogers) Webster.
On September 12, 1957, she was married to Thomas Gleason Stoufer who preceded her in death January 2, 2017. They had shared nearly 60 years of marriage at the time of his death.
Freida was saved at an early age and was a member of Lighthouse Missionary Baptist Church in Bolivar.
Freida was a loving and devoted wife to her husband and thoroughly enjoyed her role as a homemaker. She was an excellent cook as her family can attest, with their love for her homemade meals and baked breads. She enjoyed doing embroidery work and spending time with family. Freida was often the anchor for her family through the storms of life. Her memory will be forever cherished in their hearts. Freida is survived by her sister Helen (Webster) Morris, of Springfield, Missouri; several nieces and nephews and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Porter and Rosa Webster; her husband, Thomas Stoufer; an infant daughter, Sharon Lea Stoufer; her brothers, Warren Frank Webster, Bill Webster, Russell Webster, John David (JD) Webster, Mack Webster and Mark Webster; and her sisters, Dorothy (Webster) Burns and Nancy (Webster) Sherwin.
Services will be held Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home in Macks Creek, Missouri. The family will welcome friends for visitation from 11:00 am- 1:00 pm prior to services at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Parrack Grove Cemetery.
