Mary Louise Cline
Gravois Mills - Mary Louise Cline, age 90, of Gravois Mills, passed away Wednesday, July 7, 2021, at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach. She was born on March 11, 1931, in Salina, Kansas, a daughter of the late Joe and Mildred (Freeman) Rice.
On December 31, 1950, in McPherson, Kansas, she was united in marriage to her surviving husband, Fred Cline.
Mary worked for the Kansas Insurance Department for thirty-five years until her retirement.
While living in Topeka, she was a member of ABWA where she was awarded Woman of the Year in 1977. Following her retirement, she and Fred moved to the lake where she was a member of the West Lake Christian Church in Laurie and also active in CWF. She volunteered at the Hurricane Deck Elementary School, was a member of the Lake Bloomers Garden Club and enjoyed being part of the Red Hat Society with her friends.
Mary enjoyed boating and spending time with her family and friends.
In addition to her husband, Fred, she is survived by her daughters, Sheryl Godfrey and husband Richard of Wakarusa, Kansas and Cyndi Morlan and husband Ken of Lyndon, Kansas; grandchildren, Jenifer Webb and husband Eric, Brandon Colcher and wife Kimberly and Dustin Morlan; great-grandchildren, Tye Webb, Eli Webb, Kai Colcher and Kenshin Colcher; her sister, Nadine Campbell of Colorado Springs, Colorado and many other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Merlin Rice and Leo Rice.
