Charles Beach Skinner, 60, passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2016 in Laurie after fighting a long and courageous battle with colon cancer.  

Beach was born May 6, 1956 in Kansas City, Missouri to Charles “Ralph” and Nellie (Jones) Skinner. He graduated from Camdenton High School in 1974.  He and his wife owned a business laying carpet and tile for many years.

He is survived by his loving wife, Ellen of the home; one son, Daniel Skinner and his wife Betty of Versailles; one daughter, Regenia and her husband of Sunrise Beach; one stepson, Travis Tombs of Grain Valley, Missouri; six grandchildren and one step-grandson. He is further survived by one brother, Bob Patton and wife Nancy of Lee Summit, Missouri; three sisters, Donna Metzger of Laurie, Charline Weatherford and husband George of Vail, Arizona, and Pam McCoy and husband Michael of Monrovia, Maryland.  

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Mary Margaret Pierce, and three step-grandchildren.

Beach loved going to the Chiefs football games, and spending time with his family and friends.

There will be no services held.  Beach is and will be sadly missed.
