Dorothy A.L. Kempf, 80, of Lake Ozark, Missouri passed away Thursday, July 7, 2016 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 23 1936 in New Hanover, Illinois the daughter of the late Arnold and Arlena (Mueller) Trost. On August 31, 1957 in Dupo, Illinois she was united in marriage to Floyd F. Kempf who preceded her in death on February 28, 1996.

Twelve Grandchildren, Jason Kempf (Ashley); Bryan Kempf; Brittany Armour (Jerry); Alicia Naylor (Chad); Mindy Bramlett; Cory Bramlett (Rachel); Amy Wilmering (John); Ashley Walsh, Michelle Kempf; Tiffany Kempf; Taylor Burrow; Madison Burrow

An infant daughter, Linda Kempf, one adopted son, Mike Murphy, an infant great grandson, Riley Wilmering, one sister, Norma Murphy, and one brother, Arnold Trost preceded her in death.
She was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church of Eldon, MO, the Ladies Guild, the Red Hat Society and she also was a chamber ambassador. She enjoyed swimming, boating, playing cards, bunco, traveling, camping and visiting with friends and family.
Visitation will be Saturday, July 9, 2016 from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO. Funeral Service will be Sunday July 10, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Bethany Lutheran Church with Pastor Peter Lange and Pastor Charlie Kempf officiating. Interment will follow at the Eldon City Cemetery.
