Randall Wayne Shackelford, age 67, of Laurie, passed away Thursday, October 29, 2020, at Camdenton Windsor Estates. He was born February 20, 1953, in Warrensburg, Missouri, a son of Lloyd H. and Freida F. (Gowin) Shackelford.
On July 16, 1976, in Warrensburg, he was united in marriage to his surviving wife, Karen Beach.
The Honorable Randall Shackelford served as Associate Judge in Lafayette County for eight years until his retirement.
He was a member of the Missouri Bar Association for thirty-eight years, the West Lake Christian Church and Osage Community Elks Lodge #2705 both in Laurie, the Elks Lodge and the Sportsman’s Club both in Lexington and the Boy Scouts of America Tribe of Mic-O-Say. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing golf and hunting.
In addition to his wife, Karen, he is survived by his children, Kimberley Mercedees Bruner and husband Daniel of Irving, Texas and Phillip Wayne Shackelford and wife Ashley of Buckeye, Arizona; grandchildren, Katelyn, Tanner, MaKayla, Keira, MaKenna, Drake and Hunter; his mother, Freida Shackelford of Laurie, Missouri; his brother, Robert Shackelford and wife Vickie of Lincoln, California; several nieces and nephews and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd H. Shackelford and brothers, Billy Allen Shackelford and Larry Ray Shackelford.
A celebration of Randy’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, November 5th, at the West Lake Christian Church in Laurie with Pastor Kelly Caldwell officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., Thursday, at the church. Graveside services and inurnment will be held at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, at Liberty Cemetery in Warrensburg.
