Sue Carol Branch, age 81, of Santa Ana, California passed away Friday, August 28, 2020, due to complications from vascular dementia while surrounded by family and in the care of hospice.

Sue Carol Branch, age 81, of Santa Ana, California passed away Friday, August 28, 2020, due to complications from vascular dementia while surrounded by family and in the care of hospice.

Sue was born November 1, 1938 in Springfield, Ohio. She was the daughter of Thelma and Walter Porter. She was married to her beloved husband, Tom Branch for over 25 years until his death in 2002. Sue was a strong, independent woman and a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.

She made friends easily and maintained her friendships throughout her life. She had a long, successful professional career in technology sales and was well respected in her field. She was on the forefront of women entering male dominated industries during that time.

When she and Tom retired, they moved to Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri, to enjoy their shared love for boating and golf. Sue was active in the community including membership in local book clubs, bridge and card groups, Newcomers/Longtimers Organization and as a volunteer at Hope House. She was an active member of Lake Ozark Christian Church, serving on a variety of committees throughout the years.

Sue loved travel and went on many trips including South America, China, Taiwan, Europe, New Zealand and Alaska. Over the years her photography skills really took off and she began coming back from these trips with great pictures, along with stories of meeting the locals and enjoying their culture.

Sue is survived by her children, Greg Branch and his wife Michele and Cindy McKenzie and her husband Steve. She is also survived by her 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial gifts honoring her memory may be made to Lake Ozark Christian Church, PO Box 194, Lake Ozark, MO 65049. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 20, 2020 at 2 p.m at Lake Ozark Christian Church, 1560 Bagnell Dam Blvd, Lake Ozark, MO.
