A pair of men from West Des Moines, Iowa were seriously injured Friday evening in a collision on the 4.2-mile marker of the Gravois Arm of Lake of the Ozarks.

A pair of men from West Des Moines, Iowa were seriously injured Friday evening in a collision on the 4.2-mile marker of the Gravois Arm of Lake of the Ozarks. 

A Missouri State Highway Patrol report states that the incident occured when a southbound 2015 Seadoo occupied by 21-year-olds Cole Coffin and Jack Koerner of West Des Moines struck the starboard side of a northbound 1995 Envision boat being driven by 56-year-old Todd Gore of Port Barrington, Ill., with two occupants. The report does not indicate who was driving the Seadoo. 

Coffin was transported by MU Air Care to University Hospital and Koerner was transported by EMS to Lake Regional Hospital to treat serious injuries. Both were reported to be wearing safety devices. No injuries were reported from the three occupants in the Envision. 

The Seadoo was listed as totaled and was towed by Tow Boat USA. The Envision was reported to have minor damage and was driven from the scene.
