Ronald D. Rothove, age 77, of Gravois Mills, passed away Monday, April 27, 2020, at Windsor Estates in Camdenton. He was born January 30, 1943, in Jefferson City, Missouri. On June 29, 1963, in Jefferson City, he was united in marriage to his surviving wife, Marilyn S. (Ray) Rothove. Ron worked as a contractor in the lake area for many years until his retirement. He enjoyed spending time on the lake boating, playing pickleball, bowling, pitching horseshoes and camping with Marilyn. He was a member of the West Lake Christian Church in Laurie and the Versailles Masonic Lodge 320. In addition to his wife, Marilyn, he is survived by his daughter, Cindy Winter and husband Matt of Leawood, Kansas; daughter-in-law, Missy Rothove of Sunrise Beach, Missouri; nine grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; his sister, Ruth Rutledge of Jefferson City, Missouri; several nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother and step-father, Frances and Jesse Clyde Adams, brothers, Stanley Rothove and Donald Rothove, sister, Joan Graessle and his son, David Rothove. A celebration of Ron’s life will be held at a later date at the West Lake Christian Church in Laurie. Entombment will be held in the columbarium at Garber Memorial Estates in Laurie.
