In consultation with health department the Eldon School District will extend the closure of schools through Friday, April 24, 2020.

The ongoing spread of COVID-19 in our region requires school districts to make difficult decisions.  These decisions are being made in the best interests of public health.  In consultation with health department the Eldon School District will extend the closure of schools through Friday, April 24, 2020.

The extended closure impacts all extra and co-curricular activities including athletic competitions, practices, and after school programs and events.

Our districts understand this is an uncertain time.  Please know that our goal in this closure is to assist our community in slowing the transmission of the COVID-19 virus.  According to health officials, the practice of social distancing can slow the transmission of the virus.

During this time we must continue to support and care for one another.  As decisions are made, each district will continue to share information through their regular communication channels.
