In times of social distancing, finding any way to get out outside has been difficult. Fortunately for Lake of the Ozarks residents, an event was put together Friday to help the cause. Jasen Jones was one of the leading members behind the Strip Loop 2020 event that took place at the Bagnell Dam Strip. Residents were invited to drive their cars to the strip, drive a loop from the top to the bottom and fill their cars with glow-sticks and light while they honked at one another on the trip. Without having to come into physical contact with one another, the event gave lake residents an escape that so many were in high need of. Jones says the event could become monthly, depending on how long Coronavirus fears linger throughout the country.
