Hawthorn Elementary Secretary Larissa Smothers

Larissa helps keep our building running smoothly. Larissa assists all students and staff with lunch and balances, morning and afternoon announcements, birthday recognitions, attendance reports, and much more. She also works directly with our community to provide rewards for our students.

Oak Ridge Intermediate Paraprofessional Mike Hammer

Mike is a great and valuable asset to ORI. He is great with all of the kiddos and will give every effort to help them be successful no matter what amount of time and patience it takes. He is kind and considerate of the staff as well. He is amazing, compassionate, kind, and just the right amount of firm support that our kids need! He definitely deserves this recognition for the support he provides for our students and for our staff!

Middle School Library Paraprofessional Carolyn Dickerson

Carolyn is organized and her attention to detail is one of her many strengths. Carolyn is a dedicated staff member that works diligently to ensure that she completes the task assigned to her. Carolyn is always willing to lend a helping hand at the middle school. Her contributions to our team are a reflection of her priority to make the library a better place to be.

Julie is such a blessing to the kids that she helps with every day. She cares about their success in the classroom and always speaks to them in a calm and respectful manner. She is a positive person and a team player. Julie shows up daily with a smile on her face, a “can do” attitude, never complains, and is one of the most flexible people you will ever meet. She serves as a leader in multiple ways. Her input and leadership are valued.
