Sheriff Helms is proud to announce Captain Chris Moehle was chosen and completed the FBI National Academy course in Quantico, Virginia this year. Capt. Moehle has been with the Camden County Sheriff’s office since 2001.

The FBI National Academy is a professional course of study for U.S. and international law enforcement managers nominated by their agency heads because of demonstrated leadership qualities. The 10-week program—which provides coursework in intelligence theory, terrorism and terrorist mindsets, management science, law, behavioral science, law enforcement communication, and forensic science—serves to improve the administration of justice in police departments and agencies at home and abroad and to raise law enforcement standards, knowledge, and cooperation worldwide. Only 1% of the nation’s law enforcement is chosen to attend this prestigious school. In this session Capt. Moehle attended with law enforcement from all 50 states and over 35 international students. We want to congratulate Capt. Moehle on his accomplishment. Sheriff Helms is extremely proud and honored to have Capt. Moehle among the elite of academy graduates.
