A $777,777 top prize on the Missouri Lottery’s “Mega 7” Scratchers game was recently won on a ticket purchased from Lake Oasis Convenience Store, 114 N. Main St., in Laurie. Fittingly, the prize was split between seven claimants, including: Cody Dial, Eric Dial, Jessy Dial and Thomas Dial, all of Eldon, and Janis Dial, Jacob Gilpin and Stacy Gilpin of Gravois Mills. In the most recent fiscal year, players in Morgan County, where the winning ticket was sold, won more than $2.5 million in Missouri Lottery prizes. Retailers in the county received more than $255,000 in commissions and bonuses, and an additional $253,000 went to educational programs in the county.
