Gary and Nancy Hollander, Team Hollander Corvettes, have completed their final five Fall events and have closed the books on their 2019 season. They are already making plans for the upcoming 2020 Corvette Events schedule.

1, The 2nd Annual VBP Corvette Show was held September 6-7, 2019 in Topeka, KS, benefiting Breast Cancer Awareness and the American Cancer Society. The show was well-represented by Corvettes from all over the mid-west, and was held at the Dugout Sports Bar and Grille. At the Friday night Meet and Greet, T Nancy's 2019 Sebring Orange ZR1 was a Top 10 Pick, and at the Saturday finale, received The Kid's Choice award, two Sponsor's Choice awards, 1st Place C7 Wide-body class and overall Best in Show. In addition to the Best in Show Trophy, there was a cash prize included, which Team Hollander matched and donated back to the American Cancer Society.

2. On September 14, 2019, The 3rd Annual Battle on Elm Street was held at the Lindsay Auto-group complex in Lebanon. This year's event added MOPAR (Chrysler/Jeep) to the battle along with General Motors (GM) and Ford. The proceeds from this event benefit the Rusty Bones Car Club Memorial Scholarship Fund. At the awards presentation, Nancy's 2019 Sebring Orange ZR1 won 1st Place Corvettes 1984-Present and GM Best in Show.

3. The 5th Annual Kustom Korvette Show was held on September 28, 2019 at Bangert Park in Florissant, MO. This show drew Corvettes from mid-west states including Missouri, Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana and Ohio. Team Hollander's 2019 Sebring Orange ZR1 was awarded Best in Show for this well-represented Corvette event.

4. On October 5, 2019, Team Hollander took their 2019 ZR1 and 2019 Sebring Orange Z06 to the Versailles Old Tyme Applefest Car Show, held at the Versailles, MO City Park. Although the weather was nasty, a great turn-out of cars was on hand. At the awards ceremony, Nancy's ZR1 won 1st Place Corvettes 2005-Present, and Gary's Z06 won 2nd Place in the same class.

5. The final event for 2019, the 2nd Annual Hotel Bothwell Corvette Show and Cruise, was held in Sedalia, MO on October 12, 2019. The event has become a must-attend event for Corvette enthusiasts from all over the mid-west and has a great deal of civic interest and support. The Team's 2019 ZR1 was awarded a Sponsor's Choice and 1st Place C7 Coupe class (the largest class by far at the event).

To wrap up 2019, Gary and Nancy attended sixteen (16) events, covering over seven thousand miles of driving in Missouri, Oklahoma, Kansas, and Arkansas. They won a total of 33 awards: Best in Show (7), 1st Place/Best of Class (11), and Special/Choice/Class awards (15). Gary and Nancy Hollander serve as "Goodwill Ambassadors" for Hulett Chevrolet/Buick/GMC in Camdenton, MO, and represent the 2019 Surf City Garage Factory Sponsored Team.
