Work to improve the water main on Potter Trail will begin on Thursday.
The Utility Maintenance Division of Kirksville’s Public Works Department will begin the work at 9 a.m. between Tamarack Trail and State Highway 157. Water service in the area will be shut down for approximately two hours. Once service is restored, a 48-hour boil advisory will be in effect. The improvements involve the installation of a cut-in valve to ensure the continuation of water service if a leak occurs in the area.
