Jackie "Jack" Dean Twitchell, son of William Orville and Ethel Juanita O' Dell Twitchell , was born, May 3, 1947 in Breckenridge, Missouri. He departed this life, April 2, 2019, in Osage Beach Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Osage Beach, Missouri at the age of seventy one years, ten months and thirty days.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his dear friends.
He is survived by his sisters, Phyllis White and husband Mike of Camdenton, Missouri, Linda Blair and husband Jerry of Montreal, Missouri, Billie Twitchell of Camdenton, Missouri, and Zola Tucker of Camdenton, Missouri,;. and a host of very dear and close nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Jackie was raised in Liberty, Missouri and graduated from Liberty High School in 1965. He moved to the Lake of the Ozarks in 1970.
Jackie made a profession of faith and was active in many churches. He was saved at an early age.
Jack worked as a chef at various restaurants at the lake including Camp Bagnel, Arrowhead Lodge, Heart of the House and Papa Joe's.
In his spare time he enjoyed classic cars especially the 1952 Cadillacs, classic movies, Motown music, and Marilyn Monroe. He was naturally gifted in music and art. He could pick up any instrument and be able to play it.
He used to make up little jingles that he would sing. He was an avid cartoonist and would draw cartoons for the local movie theater for the films they were playing. He loved entertaining. He was avid story teller and would always put a little twist on whatever story he was reading or telling. He loved spending time with his family and would do anything he could to help a lending hand when needed.
He was the best brother his sisters could ask for, uncle, son and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and his accomplishments and will treasure the memories he created for his family and friends.
