The 2017 Cadillac XTS Norman Demore, 85, of Iberia, was driving struck Partin and the Dodge Charger. The Charger then struck the Avenger.
Two individuals were left with moderate injuries during a traffic stop on Highway 5 Thursday night.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, passenger Carolyn Devore, 80, of Iberia, and Morgan County deputy Jason Partin, 45, of California, Missouri, had moderate injuries after a multi-vehicle accident on Highway 5 in Morgan County.
On Thurs., Mar. 21 at 8:17 p.m. Partin initiated a traffic stop in his 2013 Dodge Charger on the 2014 Dodge Avenger Janyale Goetz, 41, of Montrose, Missouri, was driving. The 2017 Cadillac XTS Norman Demore, 85, of Iberia, was driving struck Partin and the Dodge Charger. The Charger then struck the Avenger. An ambulance took passenger Devore to Lake Regional Hospital. Another ambulance took Partin to St. Mary’s Hospital.
The Cadillac was totaled. The Charger had moderate damage. The Avenger had minor damage. The report indicated driver and passenger Devore and Goetz were wearing seat belts and that Partin was not in the Charger at the time of the accident.
