A white BMW was found sideways in the road.

UPDATE: Driver has been found.

 

An empty vehicle and a utility pole were blocking a road in Miller County early Tuesday morning. Emergency personnel are still looking for the driver.

According to Sergeant Scott White of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a report of an accident on Route W in Miller County came in at 3:05 a.m. Tues., Feb. 26. A white BMW was found sideways in the road. A utility pole and the BMW were blocking the road. No one was in the vehicle when emergency personnel arrived. The driver has not been located.

Officers from the Miller County Sheriff’s Office and personnel from the Rocky Mount Fire Protection District and Ameren responded to the call. They cleared the scene at approximately 7 a.m.

The investigation is ongoing.
