First crews arrived on the scene and reported that the single story wood frame structure was fully involved and began defense attack.
On February 26 at 1012 hours Osage Beach Fire was dispatched to a residential structure fire at 3946 Anderson Hollow Road in Linn Creek. Reports indicated that the structure was fully involved at the time of the call, it was additionally reported that a minor occupant of the home was the reporting party but had escaped with no injury.
First crews arrived on the scene and reported that the single story wood frame structure was fully involved and began defense attack. The home consisted of three bedrooms, kitchen, living room and storage area. Two sides of the structure had the exterior walls completely burn and the metal roof had collapsed into the structure. The metal had to be removed in order to extinguish fires below the collapse. All units cleared the scene at 1349 hours.
Final results of the investigation are still pending. Firefighters found indicators that suggest the fire was electrical in nature.
Osage Beach had two Engines, three Tankers, two Chief Officers, and 2 investigators respond to the scene. Osage Beach was assisted by Mid County who responded two Tankers and one utility vehicle with six personnel. Lake Ozark Fire provided coverage for the Fire District while on scene and ran an additional two calls while in standby. Additionally Ameren responded to secure the power.
No injury to either firefighters or the public and Red Cross has been contacted to assist the family.
