The Chevrolet traveled off the left side of the road and struck a tree.

Two occupants suffered serious injuries as a result of an accident in Morgan County Tuesday night. One of the two was arrested for a DWI alcohol.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) crash report, occupants David Faulkner, 46, of Camdenton, and Richard Siebenmorgen, 53, of Blue Springs, have serious injuries after an accident on Route O and Indian Rock Avenue.

On Tues., Jan. 8 at 5:43 p.m., the 2009 Chevrolet Silverado that Siebenmorgen was driving crossed the center line heading east. The Chevrolet traveled off the left side of the road and struck a tree. Staff for Life took passenger Faulkner to the University Hospital.

According to the MSHP arrest report, Siebenmorgen was arrested for a DWI alcohol in Camden County at 7:08 p.m. He was released for medical treatment. The arrest report indicated that he is an aggravated offender.

The Silverado was totaled. The crash report indicated the driver was not wearing a seat belt, but the passenger was.
