Harold Warren Robinette, age 79, of Laurie, Missouri, passed away Sunday, November 18, 2018 in Lake Regional Hospital, Osage Beach, Missouri.  He was born April 22, 1939 in Kansas City, Kansas, a son of Nelson Otho and Oral Agnes Eleanor (Thompson) Robinette.

On February 18, 1961 in Raytown, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Brenda Halena Porter.  Together they shared fifty-seven years of marriage.

Harold was raised in the North Kansas City area.  He served his country proudly in the United States Coast Guard as an Engineman.  After being honorably discharged, he returned to Kansas City where he and Brenda made their home.  They moved to Omaha, Nebraska in 1971 before retiring to the Lake of the Ozarks in 2002.  

He worked as an over-the-road truck driver.  He was a member of the Teamsters and American Legion Post 624. 

In his free time, he enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson.  Harold and Brenda boated on the Missouri River and Lake of the Ozarks for over fifty years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Nelcyne Dill and a brother, Darrell Wayne Robinette.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda of the home; three sons, Darrell Wayne  Robinette and wife Christina and Kirk Nelson Robinette and companion  Kim Anderson all of Omaha, Nebraska and Brian Edward Robinette and wife Trish of Lee’s Summit, Missouri; six grandchildren, Kiley, Miranda, Brandon, Luke, Allison and McKenna Robinette; two great-grandchildren, Aubrie and Nathan Robinette; two brothers, Mike Robinette and wife Marilyn of Smithville, Missouri and Jim Robinette and wife Doreen of Overland Park, Kansas and a host of other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m., Saturday, December 1, 2018 at American Legion Post 624 in Sunrise Beach.
