Richard James Lowry, age 33, of Eugene, Missouri, passed away Saturday, November 17, 2018. He was born on November 20, 1984 in Osage Beach, Missouri the son of Jeanie (Gerken) and Ronald Lowry.

He grew up and attended school in Lincoln, Missouri graduating from Lincoln High School, Class of 2003. He later attended Indian Hills Community College & AIB College of Business in Des Moines, Iowa. 

In 2008 he started his own business, Trailer Trendz, where he owned and operated locations in Hickory Hill and Columbia, Missouri. In addition to having a fun loving personality and too many toys to count. Richard enjoyed hunting, guns, and the outdoors. He was involved in drag racing and diesel truck pulling where he won a National Championship in the diesel truck class of the Lucas Oil truck pulling series. 

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Moe and Betty Morriss and Virginia and Norma Gerken.

He is survived by his parents, Jeanie Gerken (Larry), of Lincoln, Missouri and Ron Lowry (Becky) of Grinnell, Iowa, a sister Angie Koll (Dusty), of Lincoln, Missouri, their children T.J., Bryce, and Chance, half-sister Tacia Beine (Scott), Grandparents Richard & Doris Lowry as well as numerous relatives, business associates, racing buddies and many friends.

Celebration of life will be held at Bogeys Tuesday, November 20 from 5-7 in Eugene, Missouri in lieu of visitation. Funeral services for Richard Lowry will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at the Celebration Center in Sedalia, Missouri. Graveside Services and Interment will follow at the Lincoln Cemetery, in Lincoln, Missouri.
